Students interested in participating in the Small Business Internship Fund must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Be a resident of Lackawanna County currently enrolled in a college or university
- Be a currently enrolled student of a Lackawanna County college or university
- Be a currently enrolled student of a Chamber member college or university: Clarks Summit University, Fortis Institute, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Johnson College, Keystone College, Lackawanna College, Luzerne County Community College, Marywood University, Misericordia University, Penn State Scranton, The University of Scranton, Wilkes University.

The Quality Control Assistant Intern is a position focused on support and learning. The Intern will assist in recordkeeping and basic adminstration tasks. The Intern will have the opportunity to shadow Quality Control personnel and observe routine inspections.

Qualifications:
- College level accredited Business, Construction managment, or trade coursework
- Knowledge in building construction trades useful
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction as necessary
- Outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills
Projects:
- Uploading pictures and videos from QC inspections to a designated server
- Assisting with ship loose inventory inspections
- Preparing shortage reports as reported by department managers
- Assisting in the preparation of warranty packages
- Preparing monthly state and third party label reports
- Other tasks as assigned
