Students interested in participating in the Small Business Internship Fund must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Be a resident of Lackawanna County currently enrolled in a college or university

The Engineering Intern is a position in developing drafting and design skills in the fast-paced modular construction industry. Learn about this exciting industry while working with an experienced team. This position will report to the Director of Engineering.

• Summer 2019, June- August
• 25-40 hours per week (flexible schedule), 10 weeks
• $10/hour
• Scranton, PA

Qualifications:

• Coursework in technical drawing using Revit and AutoCAD software
• Interest in entrepreneurship
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Are self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Availability to work flexible schedule

Projects:

Internship will include being a part of an Engineering Department in a fast-paced working environment, and will involve the following:

• Compose shop drawings for single family houses that will go to the construction facility
• Assist with development of Revit templates and families
• Work with plant personnel during construction
• Work with sales and purchasing for materials coordination
• Other projects as assigned.
