• Spring 2018 (January – May or longer)                                
• 10 in-house hours per week, 10 week negotiable           
• $7.25 / hour
• Located in Pittston, PA (Luzerne County)

Qualifications:

• Coursework and/or experience in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic/Web Design or Business Development
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & social media outlets a must
• Familiarization with Adobe Creative Suite, content management based websites and/or email marketing a plus!
• An interest in learning about economic development
• Solid writing, time management and communication skills
• Strong desire to learn; professional drive

Projects:

At Penn's Northeast, you'll practice your marketing skills and use insightful input to help expand your marketing experience. You'll gain knowledge of marketing strategies in economic development by:

Learning to collaborate with the marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns: Copywriting and designing for the company’s website, email marketing and social media outlets;

Learning many aspects of economic development: Prepare reports on targeted industries, labor and wage data, demographics and quality of life for marketing materials, website and social media.

Assisting the marketing team with daily tasks: Assist in updating databases and the searchable real estate database on pennsnortheast.com
