Take charge of your summer through this latest business marketing and social media internship from Turnkey Property Solutions Group. Through this internship, you will have the opportunity to further cultivate your marketing skills by researching current trends, building and cultivating market-based relationships, developing relevant social media content, as well as managing and tracking analytics for social platforms. Through completion of these projects, you will help the business build brand recognition, broaden social media engagement, drive sales and increase customer growth.

We offer tailored services throughout the renting and leasing process, including tenant screening, marketing, rent and payment collection, routine inspections, site management, and turnover. Logistics:

  • Estimated Start Date of May-August
  • 10-25 total hours estimated (flexible with schedule)
  • $10.00-$12.00 per hour based on prior completion/experience
  • This internship can be completed virtually or a hybrid of both onsite (Scranton, PA) and virtual work
  • Online meeting capability required (Zoom)

Qualifications:

  • Marketing, General Business Background
  • Any level of coursework is acceptable (Freshman – Grad)
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Skilled in navigating and creating social media/digital marketing content
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking

This internship opportunity is supported by the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Internship Fund.  Students interested in participating in the Small Business Internship Fund must meet at least one of the criteria featured at the end of this description.

Anticipated Projects

  • Research the market base (developers, real estate agents, etc.) for property management services and follow through with the creation of a digital marketing campaign focusing on brand development and customer growth.
  • Build and improve connection/relationship with market-base to expand Turnkey brand in both Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.
  • Manage customer relationship management system (CRM) with regular data entry and client follow-up.
  • Maintain social media platforms, including scheduling and assisting in the design and execution of social media campaigns to optimize audience engagement and overall brand recognition.
  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote the company brand on various social media platforms.
  • Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional media outlets.
  • Track and report social media analytics and website SEO to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
  • Create and manage photobank, including taking photos for marketing and property listings and downloading them to the system.
  • Support Turnkey marketing team at live and virtual events.
  • Other projects, including apartment, move-in/move-out process, and administrative work may be assigned as needed.
