Join the Precision POS team, using your innovative thinking and marketing skills to collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

Running a successful restaurant takes a lot of coordination which wouldn’t be possible without a comprehensive point of sale system (POS). Precision POS designs custom software to help businesses operate smoother, manage inventory, and track key food trends. Precision POS is a POS system built by restauranteurs for restauranteurs.

This opportunity is a traditional (semester-long) in-person internship.**

Logistics:

  • This is an in-person internship at 50 Alberigi Dr #120, Jessup, PA 18434 (15 minutes from Scranton)*

**Requirement before applying: Students are required to check with their college/university career development office to find out if any additional requirements need to be met for the internship, on the part of the student and/or the small business host.

Qualifications:

  • Marketing, Communications/PR, Digital/IT Social Media, General Business, or Operations Management Majors
  • Freshman to Graduate Student levels welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Creative problem solver who works well in a team
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and a fast learner

Projects:

Be mentored by a leader in software development for the food industry! Help Precision POS:

  • Create marketing material
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
  • Participate and assist with simple menu builds. Learn about proper menu layouts and how to input menu data
  • Opportunity to assist with technology. We have opportunity for candidates to learn how to configure simple hardware and trouble shoot connectivity issues for interested student.
