Summer 2021 Developing Social Media Tips & Tools for Entrepreneurs

The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center

This opportunity is for current University of Scranton Students:

Gain valuable experience by assisting The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in partnership with the Department of Communication & Media with developing educational resources and tools to help entrepreneurs use social media to promote their businesses.

While most entrepreneurs understand that social media is becoming increasingly more important when it comes to marketing their businesses, they are often overwhelmed trying to figure out the different platforms and how to use each of them most effectively while also managing the day-to-day operations of a small business.

In this internship, you’ll be helping to educate and guide entrepreneurs about using various social media platforms so they can better market their businesses.

The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center provides consulting and training to businesses in an 8-county region in Pennsylvania. The SBDC is located on The University of Scranton campus and is part of the Kania School of Management, the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center network, and is an accredited member of America’s SBDC.
