This internship opportunity is supported by the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Internship Fund.

Students interested in participating in the Small Business Internship Fund must meet at least one of the following criteria:
• Be a resident of Lackawanna County currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Be a currently enrolled student of a Lackawanna County college or university.

Be a currently enrolled student of a Chamber member college or university: Clarks Summit University, Fortis Institute, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Johnson College, Keystone College, Lackawanna College, Luzerne County Community College, Marywood University, Misericordia University, Penn State Scranton, The University of Scranton, Wilkes University.

Summer/Fall 2019, Information Systems Internship

Iron-Tree Data Networks
An innovative IT infrastructure firm supporting many platforms across several markets and industries. Practice your network engineering skills in a broad experience from project-based installations to strategic planning and enterprise-level support. 

Logistics:
• Summer/Fall 2019
• 8-10 hours per week 
• $10.00/ Hour
• Scranton

Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktops and Servers
• Customer Service Skills, Technical Troubleshooting
• Hands on knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS
• Creative and Analytical skills, quick learner and great problem-solving skills
• Drivers License

Projects:
• Assist engineers analyze, design, test, and evaluate desktop and server operating systems
• Work collaboratively with software engineers for network equipment setup
• Support configuration solutions, systems maintenance and troubleshooting  

Learning Objectives:
• Desktop and server operating systems
• Contribute to network equipment setups and configure solutions
• Creation of application development
